Jules’ father Paul van Hessen escaped the Netherlands in World War II and received pilot training in Canada. Then he joined the Royal Air Force in England and was a pilot in command of a B-25 Mitchell during bombing raids in Germany.

Paul survived the war and passed his flying genes on to his son Jules, who is an avid general aviation enthusiast, holding a FAA commercial, single- and multi engine license with Instrument rating.

He loves to fly to his concert destinations but also enjoys flying simply for fun in Portugal, the Bahamas, the U.S., Israel and Hawaii.
